On July 1, 2018, the supplier-neutral Sensano purchasing portal for the healthcare sector, which has been in existence for over 10 years, will be upgraded to a new version. "Reach your destination with fewer clicks, high performance and, of course, mobile" were the basic requirements for the new version of the online ordering system. In future, Sensano will use the "jb-x eBusiness Suite" purchasing and controlling portal for this purpose. The solution offers all the functionalities required for purchasing as standard and also provides additional modules for tendering, contract management or recipe and menu planning.
In addition to the catalog-based item search, watch lists for assortment control, shopping cart and order overview and attractive reporting, orders can also be placed via mobile devices. An interesting feature here is offline ordering, which can therefore also be used in warehouses or cold stores with low network illumination. The mobile interface also supports scanner devices and the use of barcodes for compiling shopping baskets.
Other interesting options include continuing the order in an incoming goods inspection and invoice control with the transfer of assigned documents to a financial accounting system. Digital receipts can be received and automatically assigned to the purchase order to optimize goods receipt and invoice control.
Using the ePlanning module enables companies with catering units to use recipe and menu planning within an ordering system. This means that food and non-food orders can be placed in one system. The use of a portal for all procurement processes naturally leads to meaningful reporting on all procurement processes.
